SNG Founder Members Kemani Anderson and Callum Connell, spread their uplifting, genre blending street soul sound through dynamic melodies and jazz inflected soul prowess, renewing the musical frontiers of the genres.


The band has been championed by a wide range of tastemakers, including Rolling Stone, Clash magazine, Jazz FM, Jamie Cullum, & Bandcamp, just to mention a few.


2021/ 2022 saw the release of their first self-titled album (Secret Night Gang) which saw the band nominated for Breakthrough Act of the Year at the Jazz FM Awards, as well as a nomination for the Worldwide FM Awards for Track of the Year.


In addition, the band also played a major role in supporting Khruangbin on their UK/EU Tour 2022.

2023/2024 the band released their second Album (Belongs on a Place called Earth) and have performed to sell out shows at the likes of Ronnie Scott's, Jazz Cafe, Jasmine Poland & performed at Festivals North Sea Jazz festival, Montreux Jazz and Primavera sound. In addition to supporting Cory wongs UK tour 2023

2025 Promises to be an exciting year for SNG with new tracks “how to love” released on the 7th of February 2025 followed by “Relax your Mind” on the 28th of March 2025 with an (EP) due for release in May 2025. SNG were privileged that these tracks benefitted from the talents of Multi Grammy Award winning Engineer Russell Elevado (D’Angelo, Erykah Badu) who mixed the tracks and mastered by Alex De Turk (D’Angelo, PJ Morton)

The band have built a reputation as a must-see live act with memorable performances that have captivated the audiences.
